SEOUL-THINGS I WILL MISS

All my bags are packed and I'm ready to go...I've said goodbye to dozens of people (some more than once) but certain things (and people) are harder to leave than others. At the top of the things I will miss: Family Mart, my coteachers, noraebang, food delivery without tipping, soondubuchigae, gochu jang, yellow radish, the best sushi EVER, weird signs, notes from students, tofu-cheap by the heaps, certain SMOE teachers, K-Pop, and cheap medical care.

Uggg nostalgia...so dangerous....

Maybe I am not ready to leave...

  1. Oh yeah...I almost forgot...BOWING...nothing makes me feel like more of a f****** goddess than when I go to the bank, the teller does all of my work and then bows to me. OR when I enter a classroom of 30 Korean students and they bow to me in unison.
