Border crossing from Eliat, Israel to Aquaba, Jordan

-guard is wearing regular clothes with a huge necklace machine gun
-passport scanned quickly

Call at border for campsite at Wadi Rum
-reserved tent and asked about taxi prices; tired of getting ripped off
-set up transport (arranged taxi) to Wadi Rum
Get separate taxi to the center of Aquaba (to catch arranged taxi to Wadi Rum)
-overcharged despite insisting on standard fare
Aquaba to Wadi Rum by taxi
-the arranged taxi driver asks for 30 JD (Jordanian Dinar) at Wadi Rum entrance when fee is only 2 JD
-sheepishly returned money when questioned
Arrive at Sunset (campsite in Wadi Rum)
-taxi driver tried to charge us 50 JD instead of the orginally promised 20 JD
-we refused and he left

Other than that...traveling from Dahab to Wadi Rum was hassle free.
