Athena Goes To Dinner

"If people start smoking, I'm going to eat my dinner outside. You can stay indoors but I will go and eat outside," Athena starts speaking to the waiter in Hungarian.

"I've told him about my allergy and he's set a place for me outside. If people start smoking, I must go." Athena speaks loud enough so that the man at the next table (with cigarettes) can hear her. She takes off her coat and fur hat and walks around the restaurant, searching for anyone that might smoke. She starts interrogating our neighbor. He speaks Spanish. She doesn't but improvises, "Ahh lo siento, soy muy allergico to cigarettas." She adds a little wheeze for effect.

A woman in the corner lights up. Athena coughs. And coughs. And coughs. Our neighbor is visibly irritated. Athena keeps coughing. Heads turn. Athena clutches at her throat and drinks some water.

We eat dinner outside.
