Boryeong Mud Festival

Two days later I still had mud in my hair. And sand everywhere else.
I thought the Mud Festival would be douchebag central but fortunately the douchebags were minimal. There were actually more Koreans than foreigners.
This was where you painted the mud on your body. This is also where the "paparazzi" hung out. We were surrounded by huge cameras of about 10 different Korean photographers each time we came here.
The stage had dancers and karaoke. The surrounding area had mud wrestling, mud sliding and mud bathing.

  1. This was on ABC news tonight, I looked for you but did not see any crazy white girls. I was disappointed.
