Green Tea Fields

The green tea fields are in Boseong, which is really close to the South Sea. Boseong is about six hours from Seoul by car.  I was surprised to see so much English on signs outside of Seoul. The fields were really vast and  their was a magnificent view of the sea from the top. After walking people sampled the green tea, which helps you go to the bathroom, one of my co-teachers informed me. Good to know.

Yes, if you look closely you can see a fish eyeball that my co-teacher swears tastes delicious. I got to try a variety of new Korean food on my trip to Boseong. I tried bamboo, dried octopus, cocoon and had fish soup for breakfast on Sunday morning. The fish soup was actually really good but I could do without anything octopus for a while.
